What does it look like to be a Green Act Business Member?
Our memberships give businesses and individuals alike an easy way to go green and help make a positive impact.
We are committed to changing behaviours, spreading knowledge, and supporting members of our sustainability alliance.
Here’s a snapshot of what it looks like to be a green act business member!
#1. You'll receive Proud Member online graphics!
Did you know that, according to the Harvard Business Review, 65% of people want to buy from brands that advocate for sustainability?
Show off your commitment to the environment.
You’ll receive Random Acts of Green logos and Proud Member graphics which you can use on your socials, your website, your newsletter … wherever works for you!
Like HOPE Pet Food has on their newsletter:
… and Simply Natural Canada has on their website:
There's also informational content for your socials:
... and personalized graphics for Eco-Challenge months!
#2. Your awareness and exposure will be boosted!
We have various membership tiers and packages available.
Depending what tier works best for your business, you could receive:
-A listing on our website directory.
-A product listing on our app.
-Features in Impact Reports.
-Tags, mentions and features on our social channels, in our newsletters, and on our blogs.
#3. You (and your team, if you wish!) will be subscribed to our exclusive members-only newsletters:
We send out monthly Knowledge emails where we’ll discuss a variety of topics, including:
-The carbon footprint of emails;
-How to green your e-comm business;
-How to eco-drive.
… to name just a few!
You will also receive Community emails where we’ll keep you updated on your fellow members, their green-wins and their upcoming events.
And! You’ll receive a monthly Impact newsletter to showcase our collective impact for that month.
#4. You’ll meet your fellow members!
We regularly connect our business members! How?
We organically set up B2B introductions when we see alignment.
And we’ll gladly connect our members when we think you could help one another.
For example: If a member asks us about eco-friendly labels – we have a member that we can gladly connect you with!
#5. Your team will be engaged:
Why is this important? According to the Green Business Bureau:
9 in 10 of millennials believe that a company should measure success more than just its financial performance. They believe that companies should pay close attention to the environment and the social life of its employees.
&
A review by Fast Times uncovered: A survey conducted showcased that 30% of the respondents left a job in the past because of the company’s lack of a sustainability plan.
How do we help with this?
Our members teams are very welcome to download the Free RAOG app (we even offer private app groups exclusively for your team based on the level of membership).
Team members can be added to our members-only newsletter list, and they’re always welcome at member webinars.
We’ll send out curated engagement tools around Challenge months.
For example: For Earth Month 2022: We provided newsletters to boost engagement internally, eco-trivia with some scary eco-stats to answer the WHY this challenge matters, we also provided a Reflection Worksheet to answer the HOW can I move forward with my green goals once the Challenge is complete.
#6. We always appreciate your expertise:
Help us support our community in their environmental journey. We’ll ask for you input when an eco-theme applies to you!
For example: You’re a plant-based biz: Send us your Veganuary tip!
You’re a gardening company: Help us with our No Mow May messaging!
We firmly believe that we all go further, together!
We hope that you’ve enjoyed this birdseye snapshot of what being a green act business member looks like.
