About you:

You are confident, extroverted, proactive, creative, highly motivated and passionate about promoting and supporting an environmental movement. You are knowledgeable about environmental practices and are an outgoing individual with exceptional relationship-building skills who can maintain impactful, professional, and pleasant interactions with the public.

You have strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable with approaching members of the public to ask for membership support. Above all, you are committed to achieving the highest standards and exceeding expectations in all aspects of your work!

About the Opportunity

The Green Acts Membership Coordinator will focus on spreading the green love!

You will focus on membership recruitment and converting existing members to higher levels of membership, both face-to-face and through e-mail and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Your goal will be to strengthen community support and awareness for the important work of Random Acts of Green, Inc.

You will also work closely with our Founder & CEO to provide input about our Green Acts Membership Program and our Membership Sales strategy.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Green Act Membership Recruitment
  • Recruiting new Green Act Members through phone, e-mail, face-to-face, and social media
  • Converting existing members to higher levels of membership
  • Renewing lapsed Green Act members
  • Setting up Green Act membership station at conferences (table & signage)
  • Green Act Member Relations
  • Maintaining strong positive relationships with current clients
  • Distribute & analyze member feedback surveys
  • Green Act Program Research
  • Distribute & analyze member feedback surveys
  • Refining current membership structure
  • Improve current membership benefits through new ideas and suggestions
  • Green Act Member Data Management
  • Processing of payments
  • Reminders and renewals
  • Entering new members into current database

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Strong personal interest and commitment to Random Acts of Green’s environmental mission and vision
  • Outgoing and able to approach the public in discussions about Random Acts of Green’s membership program
  • Comfortable asking individuals to financially support Random Acts of Green through its membership program
  • Goal-oriented and committed to meeting targets
  • High level of professionalism
  • Excellent written skills
  • Able to walk outdoors, 4-5 hours per week at the local businesses
  • As a remote employee, you shall be responsible for providing your own computer

3 Month Contract – July 16th 2018 – September 14th 2018, with the possibility of extension.

Full Time

Compensation: $20 hour for 35 hours a week
