Acre75.ca is a Canadian, family owned online shop, located in Perth County, Ontario, Canada. Acre75.ca sells modern and unique gifts and goods, all handcrafted in small Canadian towns with populations less than 30,000 people. Our emphasis is on unique + quality items, with beautiful branding and packaging, that the recipient will appreciate and find useful.
In June of 2019, Acre75.ca was selected as the Silver Prize Winner in the 2019 FedEx Small Business Grant Contest!
Acre75.ca’s namesake is the 75 acre farm that owner, Virginia, grew up on in Bruce County, Ontario
Virginia has always been proud of her small town rural roots. Knowing that there were beautiful wooden vases and unique railway spike bottle openers being made in and around her hometown, she was inspired to bring together other items handcrafted in small Canadian towns. Coupled with her marketing background, passion for branding and customer experience, and a strong desire to be a business owner, Acre75.ca was born.
Support Small Town Business
When you purchase an item from Acre75.ca, you can feel good knowing that you are supporting a family-owned, small town Canadian business and, at the same time, supporting hardworking small town makers who have carefully and intentionally handcrafted each item for you and I to enjoy. A true win-win for small town business.
Know Who Made Your Gift
There’s something special about knowing exactly where a product is made and by who. Instead of seeing Made in China, you will see Made in Walters Falls, Ontario or Made in Sooke, British Columbia or Made in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador on Acre75.ca. Chances are you will know someone, who knows someone, that knows one of our makers. 🙂
We are #smalltownproud!
We are thankful to be working with each of these talented makers who are running thriving businesses in small towns or rural areas of Canada.
