Tried out a vegetarian dish tonight - A Veggie Tempura bowl! It had sushi rice, sweet potato, beets and cucumbers. We thought we would try something alternative to a traditional meat dish ... A big WARM and #GREEN welcome to Desiree Bandi to the Random Acts of Green Team! Desiree has been hired full-time as our Green Acts Membership Coordinator!! She comes armed with stainless steel straws, bamboo toothbrushes, and a passion to protect our environment. Her hobbies include her vegetable garden, yoga, fitness, and playing with her border collie (pictured here)! Desiree has a background in the beauty industry and worked with all natural, eco-friendly product lines. She was inspired to take climate action into her own hands after she read Naomi Klein's This Changes Everything.
