1) Support Peterborough small businesses.
Founder Jessica Correa embarked on a journey in December 2015 to help people understand that all of our actions are connected. For a year, she has worked on this mission. As an alumni from the Masters of Arts in Sustainability Studies program at Trent University, Jessica has a keen interest in promoting sustainable behaviour.
Recyled Stix makes a variety of repurposed products – made from broken hockey sticks! This includes barbeque tools, snow brushes, ice scrapers, key chains, and USB sticks. Matt is a graduate from the Fleming College Sports Management Program and has followed his passion for hockey, the environment, and reducing waste. This brilliant repurposing method has helped divert composite material from landfill. Support his products by coming out to the event, where Matt will be selling some of his fantastic products!
