Local Butcher Shop

Love bacon?

So does Blake Wilson, a 33 year old book-keeper who shops at the The Community Butcher Shop almost every day. Locally owned and operated, the shop prides itself on sourcing local meat within 50kms of Peterborough.

“I love the peameal bacon sold here. It is so cheap and the taste is unbelievable – it is nothing like the stuff you get in the grocery store! It’s an amazing difference in food and yah just feel good after eating it.”

Gabriel Epprecht, a 22 year old Trent University student, loves working at the butcher shop, and says it is a job he can feel good about.

Thanks for your acts of “green-ness“, fellas!
